How to reach us
The Museum of Zoology is located in Catania, the entrance for the public will be that of Via Lago di Nicito n. 38b.
The building is located in the central area of Catania, not far from the central Via Etnea and Piazza Stesicoro and very close to the Garbaldi-centro Hospital and the famous Bellini Garden, one of the oldest in the city.
Thanks to its proximity (just around 10 minutes on foot) the botanical garden of the University of Catania may also be visited at the same time.
Currently the museum is equidistant, about 20 minutes on foot, from the two subway stops of Catania "Stesicoro" and "Milo", but in the near future it will be easier to reach thanks to the upcoming opening of the nearby metro stop "San Domenico".
The nearest bus stop for the Catania Metropolitan Transport Company is in Piazza Santa Maria di Gesù which is served by lines 421, 433, 702 and 901.
